1/2 a year already!!!

It has been way to long since I have updated the blog.

I can not believe how fast the time went. It feels like just yesterday Tek came in to this world on the 23rd of December. He has grown so much, and so fast! He has had his first helicopter ride (not planned of course), shots, smile, giggles, roll over, plane ride (this one was planned), going to Canada, and solid foods. There has been so many first and I am glad I have been there for all of them.

There are so many thing about this little boy that I love, and can not get enough of. He is such a joy to have in our home, he just lights up a room when ever he enters. He has changed our lives for the better, and I could not image life without him now.

Like I said it has been a while, so I will try and jam 6 months in to one blog post.

February 8 I finally became a permanent resident of the United States of America. So Tek got to come with Daddy and Mommy to her interview in Tucson. It was a GREAT day.

February 13 Tek was blessed in our ward in Thatcher, most of my family came down for it. My parents, sister, brother-in-law, and 4 of my nieces and nephews. It was so GREAT to have them here, even if it was only for four days.

Marcha 20 Tek went to his first wedding.

March 24 Tek went to his first museum with me and the Richins in Tucson.

April 13 Tek meet his cousins Makynna, Oryn and his auntie Pimmie. They drove down to Goodyear Arizona.

April 15 Tek had his first plane ride to Great Fall, MT. Where he meet his Auntie Nic, Kelly, Aunt Jenn Jenn, and Uncle Dave. Auntie Nic and Kelly came to Great Fall to pick us up from the airport so we could drive to Canada and surprise Gama and Papa a week earlier then they had expected us. We stayed with Gama and Papa for Five weeks.

April 16 meet Auntie Kaila and Uncle Scotty for the first time

April 18 Tek had his first play date with some friends over at Auntie Kaila house.

May 4 went to Calgary with Mommy, Gama, and Papa so mommy could renew her passport and went to Peter's drive in for the first time. Also got my picture taken in Vulcan, AB with the star Trek space ship.

May 19 went to Cardston, AB for the first time.

Also through out the month of May lot a bunch of other GREAT people, like Jen, Elisa, Lindsay, and if I'm forgetting you I'm sorry. Tek loved going to Gama's work and eating lunch with her and flirting with all the girls that she works with.

May 23 spent time with Aunt Jenn Jenn and Uncle Dave in Great Falls before flying home to Arizona to see Daddy again.

May 24 Tek had his first swimming pool experience. Also slept in our new place, Daddy moved us well we were in Canada.

May 25 Tek had a Doctors appointment where he measured in at 13lbs 3 oz and 24 1/4 inches long.

Over the last couple of weeks he has started to roll over more and more. He is rocking back and forth on his hand and knees, head still on the ground, but I'm okay with that. I'm not ready for him to be completely mobile yet!

I am sure I am missing thing, that is what I get for not keeping up on my blog.

We are so blessed to have this special child of God in our lives, we are very grateful for him. We love so much thing about him. One of my favourite things I love about Tek is his smile, if you are feeling sad his smile just makes you want to smile. His eyes are another thing I love about this little boy, there is just something about them, that makes you fall in love with them, which makes you fall in love with him. I also can not get enough of his personality, he is our little social butterfly, he just loves attention. How could I forget this laugh, I love hearing him laugh, it makes me happy. Last but not lest I love watching up to him chattering to himself in is crib. I LOVE THIS BOY.

Happy 1/2 year birthday Voitek Konrad Kalani Stewart, Mommy and Daddy LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!

Voitek Konrad Kalani Stewart

Okay, so I guess I should finally update my blog about our adorable little boy. It all started Tuesday night Dec 21, I started to have contraction, I wasn't sure if they were contractions, but they started to get closer together. I deiced to call my good friend Leia to come pick me up (at 12:30am Dec 22) to go to the hospital, since David was at work till 7:30am. We get to the hospital and yes I was having contractions so they told me to get up and walk around for an hour to see if I would dilate at all, so I did. Well I dilated so they decided to keep me in since I was going to be induced on Thursday Dec 23. Well they hooked me all up to iv and all the monitors and I decided to send Leia home at 3:30am since I knew David would be there in the morning.

Well David showed up at 8:30am and my contractions had stopped, and then they would start again, and then they would stop, it happened a few times, so they put me on some kind of drug to keep them going, well that didn't work. anyways I loved the nurses we had, my favourite was Eliza, as she was leaving her shift at 6pm on Dec 22, she told me to wait until 6am on Dec 23 to have my baby. I told her I would try. Well She came back in at 6am and still no baby. I was dilated to about a 5 or 7 at that time and said they would break my water around 10am. I had my epidural at 8am and the doctor came in around 11:55am to break my water. Well I started to feel my contractions around 2 ish and then after 36 hours Tek arrived at 3:48pm, weighing 7lbs 8oz and measured 20inchs long. He came out not crying, he would just grunt and then he was limp still after 45 minutes, there was no oxygen getting to his limbs. So that is when they decided he needed to get an x-ray. When they took they x-ray they noticed he had oxygen in his chest cavity and he had a hole in his lung or another name would be his lung was collapsed. In our small town of 4000 people we don't have the resources to treat him, so he had to be air vacced to Tucson.

I was able to go in to the nursery and wait for the air ambulance to show up, even though every time I would open my eye and lift up my head I would get sick, so all I could do was touch his foot. They air ambulance show up at 6:30pm and got him all ready to go, they took me back to my room as I waited for them to finish getting him all ready to go. David and I were not able to go with him. They left at around 8:30. I was released the next day, so we could drive up to Tucson to be with Tek. We arrived around 4pm and they said he was doing much better, though out the day he got better and better. I know it was from all the prayers and thoughts that were being said for our little boy. On Sunday Dec 26 we were finally able to go home, his lung was completely better and he was doing great with eating.

We are so excited we are home now, he is a great baby, he sleeps for 3-4 hour stints at night, and eats about every 2-3 hours. He is a really good baby. And he loves his daddy and daddy sure does love him. He will burp really good for David and will fall a sleep really well for him. This morning all he wanted to do was play and I told him No. And then Daddy woke up to get ready for work and David took him burped him and he fell right to sleep. David gave him back to me and he was fine until David walked out of the house and he started to cry. They only way he was finally fall a sleep in laying on my chest. But he did finally go to sleep. I love my little boy, I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present this year. So welcome to our little Family Tek.

Thanks again for all the support, and prayers that were said for our little family over the last week, We know they were answered, and we could feel the love as we were in Tucson. I hope that was a good enough update for you guys. We Love you all and we can't wait for you all to meet our little Tek :D

Love the Stewarts.

33 weeks and counting!!

So the last time we went to see the doctor at 28 weeks, I had gained 9 pounds in 4 weeks and was measuring at 30 weeks. He said that if I gain weight like I did the last four weeks, he would send me to a dietitian, I really didn't want to spend the money to go to one of those, so I went for walks almost everyday eat more fruit, didn't drink the large diet dr.pepper a day like I was, and eating more salad. Today when I went to the doctors I didn't gain a pound and I am measuring at 33 weeks, this made me happy. We will also be induced a week early so we don't have to pay deductible again, and well for tax credits as well. So what does that mean, we are most likely going to have a Christmas eve/Christmas baby. Our poor child, I always said I never wanted a child born in December, and that we would plan our babies, well guess what the Lord had other plans there, but I can't complain, we will have one of god greatest gifts. I still don't feel like I will be ready, but I will have to be, and I know the Lord doesn't give us more then we can handle without his help.

Anyways on an other note, I pick up my sister Kimmie from the airport on Sunday and we will hang out in the Phoenix Valley till Thursday when she will fly back home. Then it will be Thanksgiving, which will be weird since we will not be going anywhere for it this year, and the same with Christmas since baby boy will most likely be here. And then in January we will see if my family will be coming, found out last night my dad is not sure how much time he can get off. So might not see family until February time! I will survive my sister did it I'm sure I can too!! Anyways I should finish washing the dishes and clean up the house a little. I hope you all have a great week, and I will most likely post about my visit with my sister next Friday, until then have a safe and enjoyable Veterans/Remembrance Day.

The only picture we have taken is off my Halloween costume which you most likely have all seen, but here it is again.

Keeping myself occupied!

Today was just one of those days. If there was a day where everything could go wrong today was that day!!! David keeps telling me the Lord wouldn't give us these hardship if he didn't think we could handle them. Lately I have just felt lost, I don't know if I am coming or going, if I am up or down. We have also been very blessed this week, and I don't feel worthy enough for the many blessing we have received. Most days I just want my mom, or to sit on my dads lap in his chair, as he hugs me and tells me everything will be fine. I don't understand how my oldest sister Chrissy has lived away from my parents for so long, and 6 of those years she lived in Germany, 2 in Utah, and 2 in Oklahoma. She has to be a strong person to be able to do that, because I don't feel very strong right now. The only thing that could make me smile today, was the movement of our little soccer/foot ball player, and that even made me cry, because I don't feel like I am ready for him to come.

So after a lot of crying today and talking to my husband (David works nights for the next couple of days) and dad on the phone, I realized I needed to get my mind off of the stress I am putting on my body and our little soccer/foot ball player. First I really needed to do the dishes, so I did the dishes, then I cleaned up our bedroom area, I then set up little boys cradle That really wasn't relaxing, but it needed to get done. So what I did next is the only thing that some what relaxes me, I went to sewing/crafting. The reason I set up the cradle was so I could make a pad for the bottom of it, I made it out of a box, batting, garbage bag, and a hot glue gun. first I measured the bottom of the cradle so I could cut the box to the right size, then I cut the batting to fit the box then I glued the batting to the box, then I wrapped a garbage bag around it and glued it on to the box as well, I did this just in case there is a blow out of a diaper I don't have to remake the padding again. I then just wrapped fabric around the pad and safety pined it on. And this is what I came up with.

I had some left over batting and I made this little goat because I could, I think it turned out pretty cute.

Now it is 2 am and I should be in bed since I have to wake up at 7 to pick up David from work. I'm sorry for the ranting, I just homesick. I hope my sister will not make me so homesick when she comes down next month. This will be her first time in Arizona, I'm not sure what we will do since I will be a lot bigger and a lot more round and feeling like I am ready to pop, but I really hope we can make some good memories. I hope you all have a great day/week.

Time for another post!!

Well lets see what has been happening in our simple little lives. Not a whole lot, little boy gave mom a scare for a couple of day, he didn't move his 5 to 10 times in an hour like they say he should, so I went and talked to a friend and got some advice. Well the next day he just wouldn't stop moving, it made me so happy! I realized I had been stressing out over some important thing and well unimportant things, which was not helping him at all. I needed to relax and guess what, he has been an active little soccer/football player for the last couple of days now, which also helped me not be so stressed out either.

We have also been very blessed this week! Our Ward family and friends have been pretty awesome. This week we were given a crib, some toys, and another friend offered us a stroller!! So we pretty much have everything now!! Except for the important things like diapers, whips, bottles, and the little things like that. My sister has given me all her little boy cloths, maternity clothes, car seat, and baby swing, my dad made our cradle, I've made blankets up the wahzoo, my mom has made some change pads, blankets, and burp rags. I am going to say we have been blessed more then I feel like we deserve some days. My family has been great with helping us out, like I already said our ward family has been great, and our friends have been too.

I asked David if he wanted to write anything and this is what he said "Hi", and there you have it folk my husband of very few words. Thanks again for commenting last week and we love you all!!!

Our little Boy!!

Well, We had a doctors appointment on Thursday October 7, we were able to hear his little heart beat again!!! I always love our doctors appointment, it either mean and ultrasound or just hearing the heart beat, which is just as cool!!

We had 78 more days to go until our due date, I'm not sure if I will be ready to for him to come. David can't wait for him to come, he even asks him to come out and play, so he has a friend to play with. I tell David, no he will stay in there a little longer thank you.

So we also had a goal this weekend to pick out our little boys name, so guess what we have a name!!! Our little boy has a name, but you will not know his name until he come out, so it will be a surprise for all of you :D Love you all!!! And Thanks all that read this, I really can't believe how many there are! So leave a message anytime, it makes me feel good when you do :D

Last week with a good friend!

So last Sunday, David and I drove to Mesa to pick up on of my friends from Canada. I felt somewhat bad since she had to sleep on our couch since we don't have a spare room, like we had the first time she came to visit last year. But she said she was okay with our couch.

Monday we walked around our Downtown, which consists of two blocks! Then that night I found a YSA Family Home Evening to go to. Let's just say it is a little awkward to go to a YSA activity with a nice round tummy! But it is lots of fun! I would do it again just for her.

Tuesday we just kind of did nothing until the evening. I found another YSA thing for her to go to, but this time I stayed home and she went with one of our YSA friends. Then when she got home from that we went to a girl's night at one of the lady's in our wards house, it was nice to get to know the new people in our ward and some of the old ones too.

Wednesday we went and got a pedicure and manicure, we then drove around and looked at some of the building in our area, like the house that Pres. Spencer W. Kimball grow up in, it is about two blocks from our house. We then drove to the Gila Valley Temple and walked around there. Then that night we went out for something to eat.

Thursday David didn't have to work, and it happened to be a payday Thursday too, so that meant grocery shopping for our house. After that we came home and hung out and watched a movie and I made pizza! Then David had an appointment to go to so he left. and her and I just hung out until he go home.

Friday we watched Ironman 2, since she had not seen it and David loves it. Then her and I went to one of my friends house so she could put a face to who I talk about, it was nice. Then we all went out for dinner with another set of friends to all of our favourite restaurant, it tasted so good, but so greasy and fattening. We all came home and went to bed since Conference was at 9 am the next morning. But this night I wake up with our little boy trashing around in my tummy, and me not feeling to well. So me and baby boy had a date with Mr. Toilet and the Bathroom floor!!

Saturday I wake up not feeling so hot still, but I woke up at 8:45 got showered and ready and we were sitting in the church by 9:10 to listen to conference. Then we came home and I took a nap and the other two watched a movie, then we went back to church to finish off conference for Saturday. That night David went to priesthood and we went and got Sonic and talked, we then picked up David and had dinner. We all went to bed early again since David had to be up at 3 for work. and my friend had her flight back home, so I drove her back to Mesa to catch her flight, and I got home about an hour before David got off work, just in time for me to make dinner then go pick him up.

That was our week in a nut shell!!! I will say I am not uses to having someone around all the time, I have become accustom to being by myself a lot of the time, but it was good to have some of home around.

Today I bought the stuff to make my temple clothes since I can't fit into my old temple clothes because of our little soccer player, lol, here to hoping it looks good!! Anyways until next time.
