Looking over 2009

I have been thinking about the last year and all the trials we have gone though, but then all the blessing we have received from those trials. I know that the only way we got through those trials is having Faith in our Heavenly Father, and knowing his will be done.

2009 I started off the year with my future Husband David and my family (The Hovans). I then started my last semester of school with a 30 credit course load, and a 40 hour a week job. Lets just say I didn't think I was going to graduate. Also found out my sister was prego!!!

February 2009 Made a trip over Canadian spring break to Thatcher, AZ and I drove it, 24 hours of driving :P But it was worth it to see David.

March 2009 David came up to Lethbridge for his spring break.

April 2009 I GRADUATED!!! I know that the only reason I graduated was from a promise I made to myself in my first year of college not to do homework or study on Sundays. I do honestly believe that is one of the only reasons I past, and the Lord sure was looking out of me there. David sister Celeste got married!

May 13, 2009 David and I were sealed for all time and eternity in the Bountiful Utah Temple, it was a very exciting and emotional day. One of the best decisions I have ever made was to marry David. I also met some of David's sibling for the first time, which was very cool since David hasn't seen them also since he graduated high school. We then moved to very small Thatcher, AZ (But I have learned to love it here)

June 2009 David started full time at the Mine and went through same very emotional roller coaster rides that I think are slowly starting to die down now, we will see how the new year goes.

July 2009 Found out we were pregnant, was really excited and couldn't wait.

August 2009 Went and pick up Eliza in Santa Rosa, NM for a week long stay at Auntie Di's House and a visit with Grandma and Papa Hovan (My parents come to visit). We all went and saw the Grand Canyon for the first time. Mine and David's Parents met for the first time. We also found out we missed carried. It has been a very emotional time for me, but it has also been a blessing. We would have had huge medical bills that we would not have been able to afford. We have also learn a lot from losing our baby. I know the lord was looking out of us, and is still looking out for us. I also believe that Mine and David's Love for each other and the Lord has grown a thousand time stronger. I also drove Eliza back to Elgin, OK and spend just over a week with my sister as I went though the "Healing process" I was glad to be with my sister at this time because she had gone through the same thing and was able to help me. If I had been at home I would have been a lone all day long with no one to talk to and I know I would have felt very lost. I love my family very much, and really don't know what I would do with out them and David. So August was also a very emotional month but has been a huge blessing.

September 2009 Kaila came to visit for a week, it was so nice to have one of my friends from back home come and see me. I miss Lethbridge a lot but I know I am suppose to be here. Chrissy also had a baby girl, she named it Michael Amelia.

October 2009 We went to Utah for David Mission reunion and conference and to spend time with his sister and her family. We also had our first Canadian Thanksgiving away from home, we had friend over to celebrate with out. And my sister-in-law Emberli had a baby boy, she named him Benjamin Matthew.

November 2009 We went to Elgin, OK to have American Thanksgiving and for Eliza's Baptism and Michael's baby blessing. It was so much fun to spend time with my family, my Mom and Dad came as well so it was good to see them. I miss them all the time :( when we were there we had a early Christmas with Mom and Dad and Chrissy's family.

December 2009 Was David birthday so we went and spent two days in the Valley. We were also able to spent Christmas with his sibling up in Utah, it was nice to get to know them better, I enjoyed my talk that I had with Emberli one night when the boys where out doing some shopping. I learned things I didn't know about her and the family it was nice. And we also got to see little Benjamin and her girls. We also bought all of out Christmas decoration for next year!! since it was all 50 percent off!!!

This year has been a great one even with its ups and downs learned a lot about myself and other, it was good can't wait to start 2010 with a new slate!!! Happy New Years Eve everyone :D

I'm sorry for not updating!!!

I know it has been over a month since i last updated. It has been a very, very busy and emotional month. The beginning of August we drove to San Rosa, NM to pick up my niece. My parents come the next week to visit us, and my niece. The next week I drove her back to Oklahoma and stayed for just over a week at my sisters house, then drove home.

David started school on the 24 of August, he is enjoying it so far. I am enjoying it, because on Monday and Tuesday I get to eat lunch with him:) and my car is slowing getting parts fixed on it, since one of his classes all they do it play around on each others cars :) Free labour got to love it:)

We went to the temple last weekend. It was so nice and relaxing, we so needed to go after the month that we have had. I would have to say I am not as stressed out as I have been in the last little while or I thought I would be. I love where we are, I love our calling in church, I love my Family and Husband, I love my life, I love that I know that there is a God, and that he loves me and has lead me to where I need to be in my life right now, and will continue to lead me to where I need to be.

I want to thanks everyone for their prayers and their love that they show David and I everyday. I know that most of our family is more then 12 to 13 hours away from us, but I know they Love us and support us even when we don't see each other everyday. We love you all every much as well, I can't wait to see all of you again. Love David and Dian.

My birthday weekend

Well on Friday I really want to go to Red Robin for dinner, well the closest one to us is 2 hours away. So I was for sure thinking David would say no. Well I was wrong. He said well since it is your birthday weekend I am guess we can go for dinner in Tucson. Well So we drove to Tucson had the yummiest dinner every, Teriyaki chicken burger and bottomless stake fries, and strawberry lemonade bottomless too:) It was so good, we were going to go shopping but the malls closed at 9 but found a ross open until 9:30 so david found some shorts and a drill. It was fun, I have a GREAT husband, most of the time, lol :) I can't wait to take my mom and Dad to Red Robin, when they are here, two weeks to go:) and less then two weeks and i go pick up my niece eliza :).

Another thing that happened this weekend, David caught me a lizard, another one :) i played iwth him for about an hour, he was so cute, Daniel said I could keep him. Daivd said NO. So i put him back down and watched him for a bit, and then put my hand down again and he got back on it, i really wanted to keep him :( one day I will have one... David said I could, or a snake.
Anyways here our pictures of my lizard, and a frog we found after we got home last night from shopping... He was really cute too, but i didn't pick him up, i would have wanted to keep him too.

Our Frist Blog

I am sorry It has taken me a while to start a blog up again, It is not that I have not had the time to. Since most of the time, I just read, play on facebook, BAKING, go for walks, pick up mail, or spend Daivd's Money, lol.

For our Two week "Honeymoon", which was fun driving from Utah to Las Vegas (for a day) then Las Vegas to Thatcher. We has fun settling in to our house, and going to the temple and just glad to be with each other. Then David started back at work, working around 48-52 hours a week and seem to enjoy it most days. I have learned to keep our house clean, I'm not a fan of bugs or mice, GROSS, EWWW, you get the point. I never thought I would learn to keep a house clean this fast, just ask any of my siblings or Mother. But it has been a GREAT learning experiance so far.

I'm not going to lying and say that I don't get homesick every once in a while, I miss my Mommy and my Daddy very much. I also never thought I would say I miss work, lol. I miss everyone I worked with, I enjoyed going into work and getting to know all the younger girls, and also the older people as well. I was so lucky to get to work with my best friend again, lol. We worked at taco time together then little caesars. I was so excited that just before I got married we got to play Lego again before I let to Arizona. That is one of my favourite part of my Childhood. I also miss all of my other friend I left behide. My last three years have also had a lot of GREAT memories that I will not forget. Okay enough of that I am making myselve homesick.

Anyways I am going to try and update my blog at least once a week, maybe even morn. I will update it every Sunday this way David will be home, and if he would like to say something he can, that mean you will not that on monday there will be news from the Stewart Littles. lol. I love you all and Miss you all. I hope you all come back to read up on us:)
