I don't know why!

There is just something about a sleeping child that makes me smile, I don't know why maybe it is how peaceful, angelic, or adorable they look but it melts my heart. I love watching Tek sleep, it is just so calming. I also love when Tek falls asleep in my arms, that doesn't happen very often. Tek is not a cuddlier, So I can't cuddle with him when his daddy's is on night. I hope he becomes more cuddly when he is older or the next child is a cuddlier. I love Tek, he stole my heart the first time I heard his heart beat, then again when I felt him kick, and then again the first time I held him. Tek is a gift from God, and he sure is one of my favourite so far. Thanks you Heavenly Father for trusting me with one of your sweet spirits, to have and to hold.

I'm not sorry for the picture overload of Tek sleeping, like I said I love to take picture of him when he sleeps (and when he is awake). These are not even all of them I have a ton more, but I think you get the point. I hope you like looking at these picture as much as I love looking at them. Tek is such a sweet spirit, I can't believe how much I am grateful for him. Thank you again Heavenly Father for this sweet spirit, I know I can never thanks you enough.

Our little man

We can't believe how fast my little man is growing up! One day he has two teeth the next he has four, and two more on the way. David pick him up last night and looked at him and asked "Did you gain weight? you feel heavier then you did yesterday!" He is so full of energy and happiness. All you want to do is smile when you are around him, he knows how to light of a room. We love showing him off to the world, we are both proud to call him our son. Our Heavenly Father knew what he was doing when he gave Tek to us.

We have days where we feel like we are in adequate to be parent to him, and good thing it is never on the same day. When one of us is feeling in adequate the other reassures the other that we are doing a GREAT job, and Tek is lucky to have a mommy, or daddy who loves him, and he loves us. We are doing the best we know how. We are leaning on each other for help, and especially trusting in our Heavenly Father.

I, Dian, personally love waking up to this picture every morning and after every nap!

How could you have have a smile on your face? Everyone who has meet Tek loves him, he just has this lovable personality about him. If you have not meet Tek, you need to meet him. He is Great in every way.

He is the funniest little man, and our favouritest little man. He makes us laugh, he makes us cry, and we wouldn't trade any of it for all the gold in the world. We know you are all thinking they say this every post, but guess what? It is true. We can't tell him enough how much we love him everyday, because we do.

Tek Mommy and Daddy love you, and we know there are a lot of other people that do too!

If this picture doesn't make and laugh, then there is something wrong with you :D

9 Months

Wow 9 months already! Where has the time gone? I can't believe that 9 months ago today I was in the hospital delivering Tek. Of course he has a little bit of a slow start, but he bounced back really quickly. He is a healthy, strong, and smart little man. I wouldn't change any of the stuff we went through, it has made me appreciated him and love him so much more. He makes my life more bright every day with that smaile, laugh, and big blue eyes.

In the last 9 months he has gone to Montana, Canada, California, and soon to be Oklahoma. He has rode on a helicopter and an airplane. He has met his Auntie Prissy, Uncle Jake, Eliza, Daniel, Rainey, and Mikey from Oklahoma. Also his Auntie Pimmie, Uncle Scotty, Kynna, Oryn, Gama and Papa Hovan, Auntie Nic, and Auntie Kaila from Canada. Aunt Jenn Jenn, and Uncle Dave from Montana. And his Great Grandma Kimmy from California. He is a great little traveler thank goodness. He has got his first two teeth, we are sure there is more to come soon. He has started to crawl. He has also started to pull himself upon the furniture and walk along it. He has had his first hair cut. He has had his first cold (not fun). I'm sure there is more, but at this point in time I can't think of any.

Thinks Tek likes, stuff animals, chip clips, straws, water bottles, Mike Tompkin music videos, music, kisses, lemons, water, outside, books, the computer, and lately everything off of mommy's and daddy's plate.

Today he also had his 9 month check up weighing in at 17 lbs 11oz (in the fifth percentile) and measuring 27.5 inches (in the thirty percentile). He has a slight case of croup but that doctor says not to worry unless it gets worse. He is growing just fine and he is healthy other then that little bit of that cold.

We Love out little man so much, we wouldn't trade him for the World. He is just great in every way. He may be small but he has a lot of love in him. Happy 9 months little man Mommy and Daddy love you so much.

Three, firsts today!

So this morning Tek was a little cranky, but did not think anything of it. So he sat on my lap and cuddled (not really normal.) As Tek sat on my lap he started to chew on my knuckle, it really hurt! Well if you guess his first tooth broke trough on the bottom! I really thought teething would have been worse, knock on wood!! He is a GREAT little boy, We really can not complain.

Another first today for Tek was beets. We were given a bag full of beets, onions, and garlic. David and I do not really like beets, so we decided to feed them to Tek. He really liked the beets, so thank you to whoever put the vegetables on our door step.

Well after Tek ate his beets he needed a bath. Our bathroom is a little in disrepair right now, David is redoing the tub surround so we can not use it. I have tried showering Tek in the shower, the last time I did it I almost dropped him many times. David never seems to have any problems with showering Tek. After wondering if I should attempt to try the shower again, I decided to Bath Tek in the sink. I scrubbed down the kitchen sink, made sure it was spotless for my little man's cute little bottom. After tonight I also decided that bathing Tek in the sink, in a kitchen with carpet is not a good idea since He loves to splash!!

I LOVE Tek, and I know I say that every blog, but I can never seem to get enough of him. I hope you love him, and all his photos as much as I love taking them and talking about him.

We Love you all and Thanks for reading.

Tek 6 month check-up update!

Tek had his 6 month check-up today. He gain 1 lbs 9 oz over the month which, put him at 14lbs 14 oz. I didn't think he had gain that much weight, so he is now in the 10 percentile for his weight. He also grow 1 1/4 inches so he is now 25 1/2 inches, which puts him in the 25 percentile for his height. The Doctor says He is growing right on track. He also started to sit more on his own :D He is rolling over more and more everyday, He is growing up way to fast.

Always we also put up his little swimming pool yesterday, he has so much fun playing in it, especially when I let him do some chunky dunking(skinny dipping). He loves water, he kept putting his face in and out of the water. He is so cute, I can't seem to get enough of this little boy.

He is sleeping through the night, eating like he should, and is being a happy little boy. We couldn't ask for anything more. I said I was going to update more so I updated the blog for all you that read it! Have a great day, we Love you all!!!

1/2 a year already!!!

It has been way to long since I have updated the blog.

I can not believe how fast the time went. It feels like just yesterday Tek came in to this world on the 23rd of December. He has grown so much, and so fast! He has had his first helicopter ride (not planned of course), shots, smile, giggles, roll over, plane ride (this one was planned), going to Canada, and solid foods. There has been so many first and I am glad I have been there for all of them.

There are so many thing about this little boy that I love, and can not get enough of. He is such a joy to have in our home, he just lights up a room when ever he enters. He has changed our lives for the better, and I could not image life without him now.

Like I said it has been a while, so I will try and jam 6 months in to one blog post.

February 8 I finally became a permanent resident of the United States of America. So Tek got to come with Daddy and Mommy to her interview in Tucson. It was a GREAT day.

February 13 Tek was blessed in our ward in Thatcher, most of my family came down for it. My parents, sister, brother-in-law, and 4 of my nieces and nephews. It was so GREAT to have them here, even if it was only for four days.

Marcha 20 Tek went to his first wedding.

March 24 Tek went to his first museum with me and the Richins in Tucson.

April 13 Tek meet his cousins Makynna, Oryn and his auntie Pimmie. They drove down to Goodyear Arizona.

April 15 Tek had his first plane ride to Great Fall, MT. Where he meet his Auntie Nic, Kelly, Aunt Jenn Jenn, and Uncle Dave. Auntie Nic and Kelly came to Great Fall to pick us up from the airport so we could drive to Canada and surprise Gama and Papa a week earlier then they had expected us. We stayed with Gama and Papa for Five weeks.

April 16 meet Auntie Kaila and Uncle Scotty for the first time

April 18 Tek had his first play date with some friends over at Auntie Kaila house.

May 4 went to Calgary with Mommy, Gama, and Papa so mommy could renew her passport and went to Peter's drive in for the first time. Also got my picture taken in Vulcan, AB with the star Trek space ship.

May 19 went to Cardston, AB for the first time.

Also through out the month of May lot a bunch of other GREAT people, like Jen, Elisa, Lindsay, and if I'm forgetting you I'm sorry. Tek loved going to Gama's work and eating lunch with her and flirting with all the girls that she works with.

May 23 spent time with Aunt Jenn Jenn and Uncle Dave in Great Falls before flying home to Arizona to see Daddy again.

May 24 Tek had his first swimming pool experience. Also slept in our new place, Daddy moved us well we were in Canada.

May 25 Tek had a Doctors appointment where he measured in at 13lbs 3 oz and 24 1/4 inches long.

Over the last couple of weeks he has started to roll over more and more. He is rocking back and forth on his hand and knees, head still on the ground, but I'm okay with that. I'm not ready for him to be completely mobile yet!

I am sure I am missing thing, that is what I get for not keeping up on my blog.

We are so blessed to have this special child of God in our lives, we are very grateful for him. We love so much thing about him. One of my favourite things I love about Tek is his smile, if you are feeling sad his smile just makes you want to smile. His eyes are another thing I love about this little boy, there is just something about them, that makes you fall in love with them, which makes you fall in love with him. I also can not get enough of his personality, he is our little social butterfly, he just loves attention. How could I forget this laugh, I love hearing him laugh, it makes me happy. Last but not lest I love watching up to him chattering to himself in is crib. I LOVE THIS BOY.

Happy 1/2 year birthday Voitek Konrad Kalani Stewart, Mommy and Daddy LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!
